STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Collectors,

Subject: The storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials.

2. The matter has been examined. Every supplier of relief materials carrying on the storage of relief materials shall make an application in Form E to the Civil Defence Controller within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that incident report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Civil Defence Controller within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
