STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Commissioner of Excise,

Subject: The working of a winery by licensees of a winery under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Andhra Pradesh Act 17 of 1968), the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a winery by licensees of a winery.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a winery carrying on the working of a winery shall make an application in Form C to the Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that permit is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
