STANDING ORDER

To

All Village Accountants,

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Information Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the possession of land by persons in possession of land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that survey number is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan.
