STANDING ORDER

To

All Examination Controllers,

Subject: The giving of private tuition by private tutors under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the giving of private tuition by private tutors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private tutor carrying on the giving of private tuition shall make an application in Form G to the Council within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Examination Controller shall ensure that certificate of recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Council within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
