GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH

Lucknow, dated the 18th January, 2013

STANDING ORDER

All Municipal Engineers,

Subject: The development of land by developers under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Energy Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the development of land by developers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of land shall make an application in Form G to the Standing Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Municipal Engineer shall ensure that hoarding is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
