STANDING ORDER

To

All Cantonment Executive Officers,

Subject: Service in the Force by enrolled persons under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982), the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to service in the Force by enrolled persons.

2. The matter has been examined. Every enrolled person carrying on service in the Force shall make an application in Form H to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Cantonment Executive Officer shall ensure that canteen stock is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
