STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Collectors,

Subject: The holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering.

2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a mass gathering carrying on the holding of a mass gathering shall make an application in Form C to the Civil Defence Controller within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that relief material is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Civil Defence Controller within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
