STANDING ORDER

To

All Extension Officers,

Subject: The plying of a tractor for hire by owners of a tractor plying for hire under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the plying of a tractor for hire by owners of a tractor plying for hire.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a tractor plying for hire carrying on the plying of a tractor for hire shall make an application in Form 6 to the Block Development Officer within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Extension Officer shall ensure that market is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Block Development Officer within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Rajasthan.
