STANDING ORDER

To

All Ward Officers,

Subject: The collection of solid waste by contractors for solid waste collection under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the collection of solid waste by contractors for solid waste collection.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for solid waste collection carrying on the collection of solid waste shall make an application in Form D to the Standing Committee within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Ward Officer shall ensure that sanitary certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
