STANDING ORDER

To

All Export Inspectors,

Subject: The export of goods as a trading house by trading houses under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 (Karnataka Act 45 of 2002), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the export of goods as a trading house by trading houses.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trading house carrying on the export of goods as a trading house shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Reserve Bank within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Export Inspector shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Reserve Bank within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
