STANDING ORDER

To

All Registering Officers,

Subject: Photography at a protected monument by holders of a photography permit under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005 (Kerala Act 8 of 2005), the Information Technology Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to photography at a protected monument by holders of a photography permit.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of a photography permit carrying on photography at a protected monument shall make an application in Form VII to the Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Registering Officer shall ensure that art treasure is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Authority within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Kerala.
