STANDING ORDER

To

All Block Education Officers,

Subject: The teaching in a recognised school by teachers under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Law Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the teaching in a recognised school by teachers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every teacher carrying on the teaching in a recognised school shall make an application in Form C to the Board of Secondary Education within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Block Education Officer shall ensure that textbook is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Secondary Education within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Gujarat.
