STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Registrars,

Subject: The maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies under the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 (Maharashtra Act 28 of 1971), the Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every facility management agency carrying on the maintenance of a housing complex shall make an application in Form E to the Rent Controller within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Registrar shall ensure that agreement for sale is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Rent Controller within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra.
