STANDING ORDER

To

All Block Education Officers,

Subject: The teaching in a recognised school by teachers under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Education Act, 1995 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1995), the Education Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the teaching in a recognised school by teachers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every teacher carrying on the teaching in a recognised school shall make an application in Form B to the Regulatory Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Block Education Officer shall ensure that textbook is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Regulatory Authority within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.
