STANDING ORDER

To

All Licensing Officers,

Subject: The running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (Gujarat Act 27 of 1976), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall make an application in Form G to the Standing Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Licensing Officer shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
