STANDING ORDER

All Revenue Inspectors,

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 8 to the State Government within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Revenue Inspector shall ensure that record of rights is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan.
