STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Social Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form C to the Registrar of Societies within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within three hundred and sixty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
