STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Tahsildars,

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964 (Goa Act 7 of 1964), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Goa hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that parcel of land is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Goa.
