STANDING ORDER

To

All Recruiting Officers,

Subject: Enrolment as a cadet by cadets under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to enrolment as a cadet by cadets.

2. The matter has been examined. Every cadet carrying on enrolment as a cadet shall make an application in Form H to the Station Commander within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Recruiting Officer shall ensure that defence work is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Station Commander within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
