STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form C to the State Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that shelter is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
