STANDING ORDER

To

All District Sports Officers,

Subject: The running of a stadium by operators of a stadium under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a stadium by operators of a stadium.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall make an application in Form A to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The District Sports Officer shall ensure that calendar of events is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Telangana.
