STANDING ORDER

To

All Treasury Officers,

Subject: The receipt of grants by grantees under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the receipt of grants by grantees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grantee carrying on the receipt of grants shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Controller General of Accounts within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Treasury Officer shall ensure that account is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Controller General of Accounts within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat.
