STANDING ORDER

To

All Licensing Officers,

Subject: The ownership of a building by owners of a building under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the ownership of a building by owners of a building.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall make an application in Form E to the Town Planning Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Licensing Officer shall ensure that register of properties is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Planning Authority within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
