STANDING ORDER

To

All Block Education Officers,

Subject: The conduct of examinations by examination centres under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Environment Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of examinations by examination centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every examination centre carrying on the conduct of examinations shall make an application in Form C to the Regulatory Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Block Education Officer shall ensure that institution is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Regulatory Authority within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Gujarat.
