STANDING ORDER
To
All Auditors of Trusts,
Subject: The holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952 (Odisha Act 2 of 1952), the Finance Department, Government of Odisha hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of trust property carrying on the holding of trust property on lease shall make an application in Form D to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Auditor of Trusts shall ensure that certificate of registration is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Odisha.
