STANDING ORDER

All Internal Auditors,

Subject: The implementation of a scheme by implementing agencies under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Transport Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the implementation of a scheme by implementing agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every implementing agency carrying on the implementation of a scheme shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Directorate of Treasuries within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Internal Auditor shall ensure that account is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Directorate of Treasuries within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Gujarat.
