STANDING ORDER
To
All Cyber Security Officers,
Subject: The authentication of identity by requesting entities under the Kerala Police Act, 2011, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Police Act, 2011 (Kerala Act 8 of 2011), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the authentication of identity by requesting entities.
2. The matter has been examined. Every requesting entity carrying on the authentication of identity shall make an application in Form C to the Board within three days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.
3. The Cyber Security Officer shall ensure that data breach report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board within three days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala.
