STANDING ORDER
To
All Assistant Registrars,
Subject: The valuation of property for the court by valuers appointed by the court under the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1955), the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the valuation of property for the court by valuers appointed by the court.
2. The matter has been examined. Every valuer appointed by the court carrying on the valuation of property for the court shall make an application in Form H to the Registrar General within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Assistant Registrar shall ensure that document is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar General within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
