STANDING ORDER

To

All Patwaris,

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Patwari shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan.
