STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Directors,

Subject: The running of a stadium by operators of a stadium under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a stadium by operators of a stadium.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall make an application in Form A to the Disciplinary Panel within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Deputy Director shall ensure that contract of an athlete is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Disciplinary Panel within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Telangana.
