STANDING ORDER

To

All Sanitary Inspectors,

Subject: The carrying on of a trade by persons carrying on a trade within the municipal limits under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the carrying on of a trade by persons carrying on a trade within the municipal limits.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits carrying on the carrying on of a trade shall make an application in Form E to the Director of Municipal Administration within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Sanitary Inspector shall ensure that drain is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Municipal Administration within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
