STANDING ORDER

All Deputy Registrars,

Subject: The certification of construction by architect certifying a projects under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the certification of construction by architect certifying a projects.

2. The matter has been examined. Every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall make an application in Form C to the Competent Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Registrar shall ensure that completion certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Competent Authority within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
