STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Commissioner of Excise,

Subject: The working of a brewery by brewers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a brewery by brewers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall make an application in Form E to the Collector within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
