STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Commissioner of Excise,

Subject: The working of a brewery by brewers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Excise Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a brewery by brewers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall make an application in Form A to the Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that transport pass is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
