STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Revenue Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall make an application in Form B to the Endowments Tribunal within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that scheme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Endowments Tribunal within three hundred and sixty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
