STANDING ORDER

To

All Adjutants,

Subject: The erection of buildings near a defence work by owners of a building near a defence work under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the erection of buildings near a defence work by owners of a building near a defence work.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building near a defence work carrying on the erection of buildings near a defence work shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within three days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Adjutant shall ensure that stores is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
