STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Registrars,

Subject: The translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court.

2. The matter has been examined. Every translator empanelled by the court carrying on the translation of documents for the court shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Deputy Registrar shall ensure that decree is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
