STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Directors,

Subject: The running of a facilitation centre by facilitation centres under the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969 (Maharashtra Act 30 of 1969), the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a facilitation centre by facilitation centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every facilitation centre carrying on the running of a facilitation centre shall make an application in Form 12 to the Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Deputy Director shall ensure that medical certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra.
