STANDING ORDER

To

All Ward Officers,

Subject: The carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Agriculture Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dangerous or offensive trade carrying on the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade shall make an application in Form F to the Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Ward Officer shall ensure that assessment list is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
