STANDING ORDER

To

All Sanitary Inspectors,

Subject: The keeping of animals by keepers of animals within the municipal limits under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of animals by keepers of animals within the municipal limits.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of animals within the municipal limits carrying on the keeping of animals shall make an application in Form H to the Town Vending Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Sanitary Inspector shall ensure that trade licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Vending Committee within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
