STANDING ORDER

To

All Anganwadi Supervisors,

Subject: The running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres under the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1982), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall make an application in Form VII to the District Magistrate within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Anganwadi Supervisor shall ensure that protection order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Magistrate within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Karnataka.
