STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Endowments,

Subject: The holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of trust property carrying on the holding of trust property on lease shall make an application in Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Inspector of Endowments shall ensure that register of trusts is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
