STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Director of Education,

Subject: The training of teachers by teacher training institutions under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Home Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the training of teachers by teacher training institutions.

2. The matter has been examined. Every teacher training institution carrying on the training of teachers shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Gujarat within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Director of Education shall ensure that fee receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Gujarat within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Gujarat.
