STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Andhra Pradesh Act 35 of 2001), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara.

2. The matter has been examined. Every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall make an application in Form F to the Commissioner of Endowments within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner of Endowments within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
