STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Co-operative Societies,

Subject: The sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 23 of 1961), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Punjab hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in fertilisers carrying on the sale of fertilisers shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall ensure that produce is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Punjab.
