STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Endowments,

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Andhra Pradesh Act 30 of 1987), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form F to the Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Inspector of Endowments shall ensure that trust is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
