STANDING ORDER

To

All Village Development Officers,

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 6 to the Panchayat Samiti within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Village Development Officer shall ensure that market is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Panchayat Samiti within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Rajasthan.
