STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Commissioner of Excise,

Subject: The keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915 (Madhya Pradesh Act 2 of 1915), the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form A to the Excise Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that stock register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Excise Commissioner within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
