STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Director General of Foreign Trade,

Subject: The development of infrastructure in a Special Economic Zone by co-developers under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1962, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1962 (Maharashtra Act 3 of 1962), the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the development of infrastructure in a Special Economic Zone by co-developers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-developer carrying on the development of infrastructure in a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form ANF-4A to the Reserve Bank within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade shall ensure that bond is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Reserve Bank within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra.
