STANDING ORDER

To

All Ground Water Officers,

Subject: Fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act 21 of 1954), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall make an application in Form H to the Tribunal within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Ground Water Officer shall ensure that register of users is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tribunal within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Rajasthan.
